The high buoyancy body and rubber generate water surface tension, realistically recreating the appearance of an insect struggling on the water surface. The body has a molded core inside, which achieves a stable flight distance and excellent floating posture on the water surface. The molded core has an eye through which a hook can be passed, reducing the probability of loss during full casts. It is also effective to use it by driving a nail sinker into the body using a through nail to slowly sink it, or to suspend it in the water by taking advantage of the floating properties of the elastomer material with a downshot rig.
